IC 342

IC342 is a face-on galaxy in the dim constellation of Camelopardalis.
Although it is relatively near to us, about 10 million light years, it is
extremely faint due to the amount of intervening dust and gas. This image
has a total exposure of more than 12 hours, including 3 hours of H-alpha to
bring out the HII regions.
